This course emphasizes the integration of general and medical biochemistry principles and concepts with an emphasis on blood biochemistry and intermediary metabolism, including disorders related to human metabolism, diabetes, anemia, and jaundice. This course includes lectures and workshops which utilize small group discussions focusing on clinical case studies to illustrate principles of medical biochemistry.
